PV roof tile for Wienerberger ALEGRA 12B – precision-fit for solar mounting

The ALEGRA 12B by Wienerberger is a large-format flat roof tile in the compact 418 × 279 mm format. This aluminium metal tile reproduces the profile exactly and replaces the clay tile at the mounting point – as a load-bearing, weatherproof base for roof hooks and common solar mounting systems. This creates a clean fixing point for photovoltaics, solar thermal and PV elevation, without damaging the surrounding tile.

Because the metal tile is dimensionally matched to the 12B format, it sits flush in the roof surface and takes up the roof-hook load in a targeted way. This avoids the typical weak points of PV mounting on tiled roofs: cut, broken or permanently stressed clay and concrete tiles. Suitable for solar installers, roofers and specialist companies as well as experienced DIYers.

The item is intended solely as a fixing tile for solar applications – not as a pure replacement tile without a mounting function.

Material & finish

Made of corrosion-resistant aluminium for permanent outdoor use. With dimensions of 418 × 279 mm and a weight of around 0.3 kg, the metal tile fits precisely into the ALEGRA 12B bond. The Aluminium blank variant comes uncoated; Anthracite and Tile red receive a UV-stable, weatherproof colour coating.
