The Tile Finder helps you find the right metal tile for your roof. In three steps — manufacturer, roof tile type, dimensions — you get a concrete recommendation for which aluminium metal tile fits your roof.
The finder is especially helpful if you don't know the exact name of your roof tile or want to choose between several variants. You can request the result directly as a product or confirm it via photo upload.
How do I know which roof tile type I have?
Most roof tiles have the manufacturer and often the profile on the underside. If you can turn over a loose tile, you’ll usually find it there. Alternatively: visit the manufacturer page, compare the profile with a photo — or upload a photo of the tile directly in the enquiry form and we’ll check it and get back to you with the right recommendation.
What happens if my roof tile isn't in the list?
Not every tile profile has a ready-made metal tile. For rare or regional profiles we either enable custom production or recommend a structurally suitable alternative. Send us a photo and the manufacturer/profile details, and we’ll sort it out specifically.
Is it enough if I only know the manufacturer?
The manufacturer is a good start, but usually not enough. A manufacturer like Bramac, Nelskamp or Creaton carries several profiles — and the metal tile has to match the exact profile, not the brand. When in doubt, the combination of manufacturer + profile photo helps.
How exact do the dimensions have to be?
The metal tile isn’t made to the exact millimetre but designed to the profile. More important than the millimetre measurement is that the profile type and overlap geometry are right. For the most common profiles we have factored in dimensional tolerances.
Can I combine several metal tiles in different sizes?
Yes, that's common on many roofs. Different profiles are often used at verges, near the ridge or on dormers. If your roof has a mixed layout, briefly describe the situation — we’ll recommend the right combination.
Do I also need roof hooks, screws or stiffening rails?
For a complete PV mounting over a metal tile you usually need roof hooks and screws. Stiffening rails are optional — they make sense for higher loads. You'll find the three components together in the accessories section, and they can be quoted as a package via an enquiry.
