PV roof tile for Nelskamp K21 – photovoltaics, solar thermal and solar mounting
This PV roof tile for Nelskamp K21, made of aluminium, was developed specifically for mounting photovoltaic, solar thermal and solar mounting systems on pitched tiled roofs. At the mounting point it replaces the existing roof tile with the K21 profile and forms a stable, weather-resistant and precision-fit base for roof hooks or suitable mounting systems.
The metal tile supports a clean finish of the roof covering around the solar fixing and helps avoid typical problems such as broken, cut or permanently loaded clay and concrete roof tiles. This makes the PV metal tile suitable for solar installers, roofers and specialist companies as well as experienced DIYers who want to mount a solar system properly on a tiled roof.
It is designed for fixing PV systems, solar thermal systems and solar mounting systems. As a pure replacement tile without a mounting function, the item is not intended for use on its own.
Material & finish
The PV metal tile is made of aluminium and designed for permanent outdoor use. Aluminium is corrosion-resistant and therefore particularly suitable for roof applications. With dimensions of 410 × 237 mm and a weight of approx. 0.4 kg, the metal tile is precisely matched to the profile.
The Aluminium blank variant is supplied without a colour coating. Coloured variants such as Anthracite or Tile red receive a hard-wearing colour coating. This is designed for outdoor use and provides a UV-stable surface.

Area of use
The PV roof tile is used wherever a photovoltaic or solar thermal system is mounted on a tiled roof with the K21 profile. It replaces the existing roof tile at the fixing point and supports a secure connection between the roof surface, roof hook and solar mounting system.
This makes the metal tile particularly suitable for new builds, retrofits and the refurbishment of solar systems on existing tiled roofs.
